2012 CHARITY PROGRAMME
The EPTDA makes ethical business one of its priorities, supporting the welfare of society. Continuing its charitable commitment, the EPTDA has partnered with the ABCREAL Portugal Association in 2012. ABCREAL Portugal is a social alliance that is responsible for the implementation of the first Behaviour Intervention Centre in Portugal, based on the method of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) for autistic children and youngsters. This type of therapy is the only method that presents scientific evidence of its effectiveness and safety in the treatment of autism patients, recovering up to 47% of the child’s “regular activity” when started at an early age. However, it will always lead to greater autonomy no matter the age. Donations can be made on the enclosed registration form in the “Charity Donation” section.
