Our Sustainability Ambition

To drive the impact on our focus areas, we lead by example and optimize our own footprint by using sustainable raw materials and driving continuous improvement in our operations. In Spain, we have achieved carbon neutrality in one of our adhesive manufacturing plants. Building on that, we lead through technology by providing innovative solutions that enable our customers to boost their contribution to sustainability. We do this supported by end-to-end transparency, reliable data, and consistent measurement.

Henkel holds leading market positions worldwide in the consumer and industrial businesses. The Adhesive Technologies business unit is the global leader in adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings. The company’s three strongest brands are Loctite, Persil, and Schwarzkopf. In fiscal 2022, Henkel reported sales of more than 22 billion euros and adjusted operating profit of around 2.3 billion euros.
