Evie Roos
Independent Non-Executive Director & Strategic HR Leader
From 2013 until July 2022, Evie Roos held various senior HR functions at SES Satellites, the leader in global content connectivity solutions. Since 2017, she was Chief Human Resources Officer, a member of the Executive Committee, and responsible for developing and implementing the Human Capital strategy. This included Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI), employee engagement, talent management and acquisition, organization and performance management, compensation and benefits, and learning & development.
Under her leadership, SES received the Diversity Award for instilling DEI as one of the key values into the companies’ culture.
Evie reported to the CEO and managed a team of 50+ Human Resources professionals globally. Previously she was appointed SVP HR Management and later EVP HR.
Before joining SES Satellites, Evie worked at ArcelorMittal for 10 years, where she held a Vice President position in areas of Global Compensation, Benefits, International Mobility and Organization Design. She has also worked as Head of Human Resources & Communications Department of Long Europe, a business unit of ArcelorMittal, gathering 30,000 people working in 20 plants, in 10 countries.
